Where I find to buy flax seed or flax seed oil?

what is the difference in nutrition of these 2 products?Where I find to buy flax seed or flax seed oil?
in the organics section of the grocery store or any health food store.Where I find to buy flax seed or flax seed oil?
You can find them in the health food section of your local grocery store. One piece of advice on flax seed, don't use the whole seed. Buy ground flax seed. My mom uses it on her doctor's advice and that's what she was advised. If you buy it pre-ground, the body can absob the nutrients from it. If it's not ground fine enough, the body spits it back out like it does with corn. The oil is ok because that's easily absorbed as well.
You can buy it in the health section of most grocery stores or a health food store.
You can find it at Whole Foods Market. I know the flax seed is located on the baking aisle. Not sure about the flax seed oil.
I buy the milled flax seed in our supermarket.

Here is the differences:

You can actually buy flax seed online or perhaps buy ground flax seed at the supermarket. Anyway, the entire kernel is called flax seed while flax seed oil refers only to the oil contained inside the kernel. The husk is enriched with dietary fibers while the oil contains Omega 3 EFAs, the phytochemical lignans as well as vitamins and minerals. Now if you buy flax seed oil only, you are missing out on the benefits of dietary fiber. Likewise, if you intend to buy ground flax seed, you will have to subject the kernels to a moderate grind to free the oil. Without grinding, you won't be able to obtain the EFA nutrients etc. Here's a commendable site retailing ground and milled flax seed among others:
