What benefit will Consuming Flax Seed oil daily do for me?

Should i consume it at each meal? and whyWhat benefit will Consuming Flax Seed oil daily do for me?
Flax seed is rich in omega fatty acids, lignans, B vitamins, fiber, protein, magnesium, and many other beneficial nutrients. I've been taking flax seeds for about a week and have noticed that my skin, hair, and nails look a lot better. You should take 1-3 tablespoons a day of flax seed oil, or 2-4 tablespoons of cold milled flax seed. Sometimes the amount depends on the specific product you're using, so check out GNC or a pharmacy, and see what the product's label says for the serving suggestion.

ETA: Do NOT eat a big bowl of flax seed a day, like J'adore suggested. That will cause diarrhea. What benefit will Consuming Flax Seed oil daily do for me?
Listen to Krister, she knows what she's talking about!
That is a good substitute for omega3 fish oils. Don't eat too much flax cause if you do you'll get diarreha what is exactly what happened to me when I ate too much Flax seed and Flax seed oil!

Seeds are a great source of omega fatty acids, just like nuts.

heart, mind, hair, skin, nails... too many benefits to list.
you should acutally eat milled flax seed it's a lot better for you, and I just eat a big bowl of it in the morning. I make it into a hot cereal type. it tastes like dirt (literally) but it's great for you. so i chock it down.
Flaxseed is a great substitue for fish oil because it contains Omega 3 and 6. It helps protect the body against inflamation, blood clots, sticky platelets, water retention, high cholesterol and blood triglycerides, promotes good mental health, shortens recovery time for fatigued muscles, and helps with the absorbtion of calcium. You don't need to consume it with each meat but a little a day helps.
you will spend a lot of time in the bathroom, especially if you're allergic to flax...
Eat milled flax seed. It's way cheaper than the oil and it's better for you.

DO NOT eat a a big bowl of it. DO NOT heat it (especially like hot cereal. Heating destroys the ALA(an Omega-3). One tablespoon has 3.8 grams ALA. The recommended daily intake is about 4 grams. So do not eat more than two tablespoons a day. It is possible to get sick from too much of it even though a little bit is EXTREMELY beneficial. It goes well mixed with peanut butter and then spread onto bread, celery, apples, etc.
